{"id":1398,"date":"2020-09-01T10:27:31","date_gmt":"2020-09-01T14:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/report-du-deploiement-restreint-en-2020-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-03-31T12:12:34","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T16:12:34","slug":"trial-rollout-pushed-back-to-2020-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/en\/trial-rollout-pushed-back-to-2020-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Trial rollout pushed back to 2020\u20132021"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Because of the closing of schools in winter 2020 prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/projet\/#phases-projet\">trial rollout<\/a>\u00a0of the Biblius platform has been officially postponed until the 2020\u20132021 school year.<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trial rollout<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During this school year, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/en\/trial-rollout-phase-participating-settings-october-2020-update\">17 settings selected by the MEES<\/a> will test out access to a centralized e-book collection made available on the Biblius platform, by means of various <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/bisco-livresnumeriques\/accueil\">pedagogical projects<\/a>. In that context, students and staff will also explore various functionalities designed to encourage use of digital publications for teaching purposes.<\/p>\n<p>The data collected will be essential to guiding future developments. The platform will thus be improved iteratively, based on user-experience feedback and needs in the field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rollout to all school service centres, school boards and private schools<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the same time, we are working hard with all partners involved to be able to provide Biblius platform access to all school service centres, school boards and private schools in Qu\u00e9bec.
