{"id":1439,"date":"2020-01-20T17:36:08","date_gmt":"2020-01-20T22:36:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/phase-de-deploiement-restreint-deux-milieux-accompagnes-par-la-chaire-lmm-uqam\/"},"modified":"2021-03-31T13:13:15","modified_gmt":"2021-03-31T17:13:15","slug":"trial-rollout-phase-three-settings-receiving-coaching-from-the-chaire-lmm-uqam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/projetbiblius.ca\/en\/trial-rollout-phase-three-settings-receiving-coaching-from-the-chaire-lmm-uqam\/","title":{"rendered":"Trial rollout phase: three settings receiving coaching from the Chaire LMM (UQAM)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Since the start of the project, Bibliopresto has been working with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/litmedmod.ca\/users\/nathalie-lacelle\">Nathalie Lacelle<\/a>, a professor and researcher in the Department of Language Instruction at UQAM and holder of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chaire-lmm.squarespace.com\/\">Chaire de recherche en litt\u00e9ratie m\u00e9diatique multimodale<\/a>\u00a0(the Research Chair in Multimodal Media Literacy, or LMM Chair).<\/p>\n<p>During the trial rollout phase, Professor Lacelle and her team will be providing support and guidance to librarians Lyne Rajotte of the Centre de services scolaire de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-\u00celes, Julie Gagnon of the Centre de services scolaire de la Pointe-de-l\u2019\u00cele and M\u00e9lissa Vincent of the Centre de services scolaire des Trois-Lacs, as well as staff members involved in the projects being conducted in those three settings.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is to document:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the process of designing and co-creating the pedagogical projects involving collaboration by various school staff members; and<\/li>\n<li>use of the Biblius platform by students and school staff as part of pedagogical projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The LMM Chair team will use the data collected to formulate recommendations to school staff on the use of e-books for teaching purposes. The data will also be used to nurture thinking on the development of digital reading technology for students in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n<p>This process is part of a research and action initiative targeting\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/chaire-lmm.squarespace.com\/soutien-ldition-jeunesse\">support for development of e-publishing approaches for young readers in Qu\u00e9bec<\/a> (FRQSC funding, 2017\u20132020) and the project <em>Soutien \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9dition num\u00e9rique jeunesse<\/em> being conducted by the Litt\u00e9rature qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise mobile partnership (SSHRC funding, 2019\u20132024).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since the start of the project, Bibliopresto has been working with\u00a0Nathalie Lacelle, a professor and researcher in the Department of Language Instruction at UQAM and holder of the\u00a0Chaire de recherche en litt\u00e9ratie m\u00e9diatique multimodale\u00a0(the Research Chair in Multimodal Media Literacy, or LMM Chair).
