Common collection
Since the fall of 2021, the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (MEQ) has offered a common collection for all students and school staff in the public school network (school boards (SB) and school service centers (SSC)). This project is part of a major ministerial investment over five years : it aims to “increase access for the school community to Quebec cultural works and ensure better integration of culture in pedagogy”.

Consultation for 2022-2023
A consultation process has just been launched to survey teachers and school staff. We want to know the most popular and used titles, in order to identify needs and guide reflections on the composition of the common collection 2022-2023.
All the information on this subject has been sent to the Biblius persons in charge in SB and SSC. To find out more, feel free to contact them :
- Consult the list of persons in charge (in alphabetical order of the name of the SB/SSC).
- See your internal directory to obtain the email of the primary Biblius administrator in your SB/SSC.
Selection for 2022-2023
As for last year, the selection of titles will be carried out by a committee of experts made up of members of the school staff and specialists from the Ministère de l’Éducation du Québec (Direction des ressources didactiques et pédagonumériques, Constellations). For the common collection’s second year, a certain stability will be aimed for in the choice of titles, compared to the 2021-2022 collection.
